Notices have just started pouring in for retailers who are utilizing one of the more recent additions to Google Shopping: Showcase Shopping Ads.
Google has announced a minor change to select governing policies about Showcase Shopping Ads.
The email reads:
"With this new policy launch for Showcase Shopping ads, we will no longer allow header images to contain overlay logos and slogans, or other overlaid text.
Please check your Showcase Shopping ad images, both expanded and collapsed, to confirm that they do not include overlay logos, slogans, text overlays, or watermarks, before October 1st, 2018. After this time, your ads may be disapproved."
